Angry How did I break a Bassman 25? How can I fix it?

So, earlier tonight, counting on my excellent luck as of late, I decided to try a quick practice running my guitar through a Fender Bassman 25 I use for practice with another band (with a bass, of course). Running a Tele through a clean boost pedal, into the amp.

Halfway through the first song-attempt, the amp wavers in volume, and, ta-da, nothing. Everything quiets down, and I turn the bass off and on - now I'm getting a constant-volume buzz from the amp, not affected by any of the controls.

So... this being a recent Fender amp, if it's a circuit-board problem, I can't be super-optimistic. But, possibly there's some other common problem? And, worst case, it's a $100 amp, no no huge loss there.

But... is it really feasible to break a bass amp by playing a guitar with a boost pedal in front of it? What a bummer.

Awww, I'm so sorry, I love my Bassman 25. I don't see why a pedal would cause that, but I'm not so technical. Maybe someone can say what happened, I hope. I've had my 25 since 2001 or 02 with no problems. I even played it wide open with guitar at a jam with some buds, and it was fine ever since. Great tone, especially in headphones.

Hope ya get it fixed, pal.

It broke for some other reason. Guitar with boost pedal didn't do any damage that a bass signal wouldn't have done.
