How do neo speakers hold up to temperature extremes?

Looking for some anecdotal evidence here.

I'm considering (for the first time) purchasing a cab with neo speakers. My rig spends a lot of its down time in a cargo van full of PA gear and drums. As one would assume, this vehicle gets parked in a garage that is not temperature-controlled. I've used Eminence Legends forever, and they seem to put up with hot summers and cold winters in the aforementioned van just fine.

Is there any reason to believe that neo speakers wouldn't like this scenario?

There is no difference between a neo magnet and a full weight magnet regarding the impact of temperature of the environment.

You would have to heat the NEO speaker well past what would be safe for the van to effect the magnets.

Thanks, guys. I appreciate the info. I had heard some things about neo speakers not taking too well to heat, so I thought I'd seek clarification from some folks who have used them.

That was a 'way back in the day' issue of initial neo designs not having sufficient venting/cooling, and the fact that neo can become 'demagnetized' at VERY high temps. This had nothing to do with little swings in atmospheric temps, and the entire 'cooling' issue was solved many years ago.

You are good to go!
