How do you get this kind of finish on your bass?

Hi I really would like to know how to get that look do you just unfinish it and keep playing on it?

It looks like the regular finish has been poorly sanded off.

Once you get the right combo of 'stache, hair, and purple wife beater the finish just falls off :-P

More likely a custom body with no finish applied.

yeah remins me of a fender I once stripped the paint off of and never got around to applying any finish to. Teens shouldnt have access to power tools.
