how to get mid range punch from Fender bassman 300t's graphic eq??

hi guys

I've got a 300Tbassman...... 57 Pbass reissue with steve harris flatrounds and ampeg 8x10e

just wanting to know some tips/ideas about how to dial a punchy mid range tone using the bassman 300T's graphic eq?? without making it sound to muddy or farty!

please help

Cut everything below 80Hz, stay flat from there, boost around 800Hz, adjust everything above that to taste. Imo.
