My ashdown little giant 1000 doesn't seem loud at all, i have a 4x10 so it can't be cab problems, anything i can do to my eq that will give it a boost?

Isn't the "Little Giant" the big brother of the failed "Superfly" ?

The amp has two seperate power amps, each capable of 500 watts @ 4 ohms.

If you are connecting only one cab, and if it is only 8 ohms, then you are probably getting somehwere around 300-350 watts only.

ETA - Looked back over your old posts. You are using an 8 ohm Peavey 410TX.

So yeah, what you thought was a 1,000 watt amp is only pushing 300-350 watts total with that one cab.

I have a 4x10tx yeah, i've only used it at home practice as a complete rig, so i haven't had chance to pump it up, it seems a bit quiet though. It must be the 8ohms reducing the power. I'll have to think about my options after i whack it up and it still won't work

Ashdown Little Giants are known for being much quieter than anticipated. If i remember correctly it was a problem with the preamp not giving a strong enough signal to the power amp, if you have an external preamp (Sansamp Bass Driver DI, MXR M80 etc...) try running that into the effects return.

Replace your cab with a pair of 8Ω fEarful 15/6/1 cabs (combined impedance is 4Ω). You will notice a considerable difference in volume and range if you do.

If you run your LG100 with a 4ohm 410 cab you will hear a big difference for sure and in a good way.
