How Many Bass Amps/Combos/Cabs Do You Own?

Sign in to disble this ad
Me, I have too many sitting around. My playing rig these days consists of a Markbass CMD 121H (2008 model) combo plus a Markbass Traveler 151P cab (2011 model). It all does a great job. I'll eventually get set up with a separate head and two 151Ps, I think.

Otherwise I still have:

Trace Elliot GP7SM 200 combo (115, 200w), early '90s model.
Peavey Combo 300 (115 210w), early '90s model.
SWR Workingman's 12 combo (112, 100w), early '90s model.
Fender Bassman 25 combo (110, 25w), 2001 model.
Fender Bassman 150 combo (112, 150w), 2007 model.

I think that's all.

What ya'll got?

Nothin' special, 3 combos:
Ampeg BA115
Fender Rumble 15
Kustom 150 (black tuck and roll)
As I don't play out at the moment, these will suffice for now. If I were to be lucky enough to start playing out on a regular basis, I would love to get an Ampeg PF 500 and 2 PF 115's.

Lone cab is an Ampeg 410hlf.

Looking for a tolexed Avatar 210. MAYBE a pair, then I'll off the Ampeg.

I just sold my Schroeder 610L, and ordered a Barefaced Big Twin T to go with my Ashdown MK-500.

I also have a TC Electronic rig RH750/RS210/RS212.

Would love a small, high quality combo as well, but find it hard to justify the cost. My wife finds it impossible.

Peavey TNT 115 Combo
Ampeg B3 Combo
Hartke 4.5 XL
Hartke 210 Traveler
Hartke HX115
Hartke HX410 ( just arrived yesterday!)
GK700RBII
Hartke HA7000

Can you tell I'm a Hartke Fan? I keep planning on getting rid of some of the stuff I don't use anymore, but just can't seem to do it. As I've upgraded and got new stuff for for different projects, I keep the old just in case I "need it" someday. I come up with silly excuses to use the combos, ( Ampeg is a stand in guitar amp, Peavey runs a little drum machine) The 210 and 4.5XL look cool on the wall ( the tweeter is blown on the 4.5 and the 210 rattles when played due to a poor mod attempt years ago). The Hydrives circulate in and out for gigs. I plan on using the GK head for smaller gigs when I only need one cab and the HA7000 for both cabs.

See I have a reason for everything!

This is what the wife hears anyway!

I don't have much bass stuff anymore. I find more is less and I rarely need more than what I currently have. I could never find a use for big powered amps (200watts seems to work well for me)
Currently:
GK MB200
SWR 1x10" Cab (would love to get my hands on an Eminence S2010 to put in this)
Dr. ASS 1x15" Cab

Recently sold:
GK800RB
Peavey 410TX

Long Gone:

Main gig rig:
Mesa Carbine M9 -> Bergantino AE410 (or the 212)

Backup gig rig/practice rig: Genz Shuttle 6 -> Bergantino AE212.

Living room/big stage rig (not worth schlepping to a bar gig): Brunetti "Mister B!" preamp (or Summit TD-100) -> Bergantino IP 310.
