How many Ohms does my head have to be for a 8 ohm cabinet?

I have been researching for ever about this and I just cant figure it out. I want to get a Gallien-Krueger 410MBX 400W 4x10 Bass Speaker Cabinet with Horn and it is 8 ohms. Now am i able to get a 4 ohm OR 8 ohm head? or does it HAVE to be 8 ohms?

Also, how many watts can i have in my head? Does it matter? or does it have to be 400 or less?

If you are looking at solid-state heads, the Ohm spec given is the MINIMUM allowed for that head. So it's OK to connect a 4 Ohm minimum head to an 8 Ohm cab. NOT OK to connect an 8 Ohm minimum head to a 4 Ohm cab.
300 to 500 watts will work fine with that cab. If you push it too hard, you will hear it.
