How much did your Markbass repair cost you?

Just curious. I still see people talking about how expensive Markbass gear is to repair and I'd like to see some real world examples to shed some light on how valid that claim is (or isn't). So far I've heard of two repairs that most people would consider expensive... that's not exactly a trend IME. So how much was your repair?

I've been running mine with a fairly busy gigging schedule for three years now. No repairs so far so no repair cost.

I just bought a Markbass along with a 2 year warranty for $100 that will replace the amp should anything happen to it.

Originally, repairing my MB LMK was going to be about $250. Markbass would not do a component replacement on the amp and insisted on dropping a whole new board/power section etc in. I talked with Peter Murray at MB and he was extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The repair ended up costing exactly $178 for a complete replacement..basically a brand new amp dropped into the chassis. My amp is a 2006 model, 4 years old, and gigged regularly. Mark Bass appears to be working hard to improve their product support in the states.

Just curious, do you know what went wrong with your amp?

I'll get to see for myself as my backup LMII bit the dust a while ago (vaporizing the main external fuse). I'll probably send it off next week. The amp and power supply are one big assembly.
