Hi TB !
I wonder what will be the better way to wire all my gear correctly ? I don't want to break something and I want to get the best of my equipement ?

Now I wire bass to big john, big john to bbe , bbe to input, and the tuner is in the effect loop. lol I don't think it's the better way...

I hope somebody can help me.
thanks
Marc

I would put the BBE into the Effect loop, and if you have an aux out (My M-2000 does) send that signal to the tuner. From what ive heard and gathered, the later the BBE is in the effects chain, the better.

And i do realize hes not running anything else guys.

Anyone ran a BBE Post amp/Pre Cabinet before?

I'm almost postive it would destroy the BBE. I doubt those imputs were made to withstand that kind of current.

Bass > Pedals > Amp Input > Fx Send > Tuner > BBE > FX Return

Thats how I would do it, although I've never used a rackmount tuner, not sure if it will color the sound any.

Fankly id really remove the Tuner out of the signal loop if you can. I realize how nice it is to have a rackmount tuner but its just making the bbe do more work.

Anyone have thoughts on that?

I knew it was weird to plug the tuner in the effect loop...
But on the amp effect loop, there is a knob going from 0 to 10. When I'll wire the bbe in the effect loop, do you think I should keep this knob at 0 ?

at this point man id say you need to download the manual for your amp and read it cover to cover. make sure you understand how everything works. Im assuming 0 means no effects loop but i could be wrong.

The Mesa 400+ uses a paralleled system. The knob on the back is the blend control, basically, with 0 being almost none of the loop mixed in and 10 having a lot of the effected signal.

You wont hurt it by just wiring it up and turning the knob and stopping when it sounds the best.
