Not really

I finally got an SVT; partially because of him always talking about them

For what it's worth, it's been amazing so far!

We should start a support group. I too have been recently swayed by his hypnotic descriptions and bought an Ampeg Micro Vr and 2 x 10 cab.

JimmyM didn't change my opinions of an SVT. The sound of a cranked one that I have witnessed many time in person changed that. His tales of the ****ers lasting through battles in hell made me want one though.

JimmyM has influenced some of my purchases for sure. I am sure many other TBers can attest to that. Still rocking the VT bass and if I ever need an SVT for something....

Yeah, I got me a Tech 21 VT... JimmyM may or may not have had something to influence in that... Actually, it was James Brown in the Devo hat that made me do it!

Yepperasaurus! I only been swayed by jimmym to get my VT pedal modded; hadn't happened yet cuz its on the back burner now, but I'm still thinking on it...still.

Just no Ampeg heads for me so far, but its early in the year still, could happen.

JimmyM made my buy a VT Bass with his stupid "this sounds exactly like my b-15 on this setting" statement. Honestly, never been more happy with that purchase. Thanks for the great advise!
