Not really, I just added the DB412 to my rig. Too much for the house. I couldn't pass up the deal at Amazon. $747 shipped new is what I ended up paying.

Nice.

I'm in a similar situation. GK 2001RB into a Mesa 412, at home in my practice space. The master knob is at 1mm past "0" and it's just ridiculous. (Was my touring rig for a few years).

Actually, I live on 5 acres and the closest house is about 150 yds away. I also live alone so those 3am practices come up once in awhile

Yup, I'm using a Peavey Tour 700 and just bought a 4 ohm Mesa Powerhouse 412, for home practice. I haven't had much luck looking for a band, but I love this cab. I practice at a pretty loud level for home practice, and the volume is hardly on.

From what I can tell it's a fairly rare cab. Not sure why...maybe people would rather have an 810 if they're going to carry that kind of gear.

I'd like to try out the Aggie 412 some day.

My neighbors knock on my door if I'm playing acoustic guitar after ten pm. I hate apartments.

Very nice setup! I've got 3 different cabinets I use for practice. An old Ampeg 115 combo (don't really use anymore) and a Peavey TVX410 and my main rig is an Aguilar GS412 (both powered by Eden amps)

Definitely do it if you have the chance. I've played through tons of 810s and to me they don't get the kind of low-end response that a 412 does with the same amount of clarity. At least that's my experience of it :P. And I LOVE my Aggie GS412. I bought it off of Devin Ingelido and have not regretted a single minute.

Stay on the low end,
_Flempton
