Sign in to disble this ad
Because of age and some Medical reasons, I am going to go with a smaller rig. I can carry a little, but the time you carry a head and a couple of cabs I am done. So I was wondering if you guys could give me and idea what my cab is worth. Its in pretty good condition looks nice. I have only gig with once so far since I have own it. I would like to sell it local. I have it on craigslist around the Austin area for sale are trade, but know results. I am going to repost it so what do you think it's worth. Thanks you for any help.

How do you have it priced now? Is this the 2x12 with one of the 12's angled at the bottom?

I looked around and can't find any recent sales to compare yours with so I can't give you a number that it will sell for. That is probably not a good sign because things in higher demand get more money. How much did it cost new and how much are you selling it for right now?

Right now I have it for $350.00 are trade for a Fender Jaguar Bass are a Ibanez Bass. I wanted a Jazz type bass. I have a USA Fender P.. But I wanted something decent the cabs in very decent shape one small dent in it. The 12s are angle one on top. I don't know what they cost new, but it has neo speakers in it. Its rated at 600 watts at 8ohms. I think someone told me it was around 70 some pounds.

Selling it local is going to be a slow process. If you can find a way to ship it then your possibilities increase dramatically.

Those are pretty sought after cabients if you can find the right buyer. Carvin made them for about 10 mintues a few years back. I saw them in the catalog, went to order some, and they were gone from the website. I'd still like to have one! I forget what they were new, maybe $399, I don't remember for sure.

Just keep in mind that for $350-$400, anybody can call Musicians Friend and take their pick of 4x10 or 2x12 cabinets shipped to their door.

I wouldn't mind trading to someone around the Austin area for a small light 15 cab , to use with a Ibanez P5110 that new Promethean amp. That way for small gigs I could use it by itself and larger I could add the 15. I've seen some of them fairly light and I wouldn't be using it all the time.
