I'm guessing out of the list of authorized builders here - fEARful™ authorized builders - that it would be the one who has a Canadian address. Dekker's got his own website linked from there but I'll post it too: SHO Bass

The "66" just got a bit of a weight reduction too, so good timing!

I had noticed the updated plans, so all is good on that front. Just updating my cutlists now. Now it's just the matter of hammering out all those details!

I too have the fEARful fever. I have Ron Anchak building me a 15/6/1 and a 15 sub (should be done in 3-4 weeks) and I can't wait!

The only prescription I can give you is Hockey season is now in full swing... sucks for me because my Flyers have not started off so well.....

I caught it too. I don't have a job, don't have much money, but I've begun the process of spend about $600 on one of these DIYs. Bought the 11 ply baltic birch... Got my 3015LF neo sub, just got the 6nm410 midrange, ordered the crossover. I'm off and running.

According to fEarful bass guys, my life has been shallow and meaningless until now.

I've got the fEarful bug to. I just can't pull the trigger as I've two kids going into college within a year. I know 6 or 7 hundred bucks isn't going to keep them from going but I don't wanna have to do all that 'splaining to you know who. And I already have a Bergantino NV215 that I love and I my band only plays the local pizza joint once every couple of months. So as totally freaking awesome as the fEarfuls are, and they are totally freaking awesome, it just doesn't seem like the time is right. That and I think I'm legally restrained from looking at or even walking by, let alone using power tools.

Yeah I am recently separated so this is kinda my gift to my self....along with a new American fender jazz deluxe V (ash)........lol... I know they say that things cant fill That hole that is left from Such a unpleasant situation.... But i dont know i dont think that who ever said that was never a bass player..lol...case it is sure doing a mighty fine job right now of keeping my mind off the the present situation. Now my wonder is...Since this 1515/66/1 is such a 810 slayer....what am i going to do with my Megoliath 810 now??.... It almost seams that i wont need it any more...and am almost considering getting rid of my Goliath IV and going with a 15/6/1 for my smaller stuff!!! I guess if nothing else i can just keep them and when i have a really really big Gig i can just run the 1515/66 and the 810 together and scare the Crap out of every Guitar Player there ...Man what Hard Choices I have now..lol Man I cant Wait For My 1515/66 To get started and to get here!!!....I got a case of the fEARful Bug really BAD!!!!....And i dont think there is a Cure!!!

Think about a cool amp or separates with scary wattage. That'll keep you occupied for awhile. And playing the monster will keep you occupied for ages more yet : }

Then buy a current-gen mini head for the times when you don't need The Punisher.

Your 1001RB-II will put 700 watts into that 1515/66, the Markbass less than that. The most a ShuttleMAX 12.0 would give you is 600 watts.

A Carvin B2000 gives you 1300 watts (nominally) into that 1515/66. A Carvin BX1500 bridged? 1500 watts.

Think of the headroom, dude. Great price, great tone, gobs of headroom. These things are fEarful ready. What's not to love?

I'm still stuck in the dark ages with preamps used with fairly light power amps that make at least a 1.5 Kwatt into 4 ohms ; }

If that's the plan, then it's the B2000 for sure. It'll operate safely down to 2 ohms, and put more than 1,000 watts into each of your big cabs - the fEarful and the Megoliath. Not really sure why you would need to do that, but there it is.

Really if I were you, and mostly playing just big gigs with big rigs, I'd keep the 1001RB-II and the Megoliath, flip the Goliath IV and the Markbass head, and use the proceeds to finance purchase of the fEarful 1515/66 and a Carvin BX1500.

Done. Two rigs to rock your world - each with its own distinctive voice.

Well I already have the 1515/66 on the way......so i am think about getting the B2000 ....But i do have small stuff as well so if i do get rid of the Goliath IV i will get the 15/6/1 for my small stuff and hey the 1001rbII is a great head and with 480 watts at 8 ohms is great for the small stuff!!
