I know I'm not the only one. Rumble anyone?

I have now owned and currently own three variations of the Fender Rumble series of amps and cabinets. The 150 combo; the 75 combo; and currently the 410 cabinet. I have been extremely pleased with all. I am by no means cheap but I do recognize the value of the dollar and these Rumbles fit the bill in quality and sound. I would put my 410 (coupled with SWR 700 Working Pro head) against just about anything out there. Especially for the money.

I currently have a Rumble 100 which I only use for rehearsal, but was looking maybe to get a 150. Was wondering if there is any difference between the two as far as sound and more power.

That 410 is 5 stars right down the line at Zzounds. I don't know how they do it for so cheap.

I have a Rumble 75 and I think it's great. Clear, clean sound, no problems whatosever and does not distort even when turned up to 10!

Unless something else is going on (different speakers or cab design), the difference going from 100w to 150w is barely even detectable.

Takes double power to increase +3db, and 10X power to get twice as loud.

I was wondering how my GK MB200 would sound through the fender rumble 410? It is also a 4ohm match. Hmm?

I've got a Rumble 75. I am debating whether to keep it or not. Can't quite get the same high end bite out of it as I can with my Ampeg BA108. Got a BA112 on the way to compare.

I have to turn the treble and midrange tone controls up to 9 to get the same top end out of this that I can get out of the 108 with the treble tone set to 7 and everything else set to 5 (12 o'clock). This is with a Fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass which has a good amount of top end naturally.

The bottom end is nice and full though. MIne had an annoying buzz behind the faceplate where the Rumble logo is, which I thought was kind of funny. I loosened the mounting screws and shoved a thin strip of rubber between the amp chassis and the cabinet and that seemed to quiet it down, at least for now.

I have two places at my house where I play on opposite ends of the house, so I might keep this and put it back in the jam room with my Hammond C3 and minimoog. Beats having to lug an amp back there everytime I want to just jam along with some drum patterns, or host a guest bass player to let me play some keyboards.

I have to admit that despite the huge difference in tone control settings between this and an Ampeg, it is growing on me the more I play through it.

My first amp was a Rumble 100 combo. It was a great deal and loud but I didn't really like the tone that much. Patch into a decent preamp plugged into the effects loop return and it was great. I used a Peavey TB Raxx preamp and a Behringer Bass V-AMP Pro with it and loved it.

I'm seriously considering getting the rumble 350 amp and a Fender cab to go with it.

I have said it SEVERAL times on TB and I will say it again proudly. Those Rumble amps/cabs are SLEEPERS. I once sold my entire GB rig just for it. They sound GREAT.

I've been reading the different threads on the Fender amps/cabs. I've never seen so many people divided on the quality and sound of any manufacturer as they are on Fender amps and cabs.

I got a 350 head at GC on clearance for $250.
After trading in two used basses, it cost $93.
This head sounds great and is easy to use. I
can get a good sound with the settings flat
and use the shaping buttons with good
results.

I got an Acoustic B15 MKII rated at 450 watts
@ 8ohm on clearance at GC for @504 and
traded a bass and guitar and out the door for
$104.

I've had an old M-80 Cab for a long time.

I wish I had a Rumble 410, but I like the sound
of a 15 and a 12.

I bought a rumble 100 for my son a few years back..it's a decent amp..Now that he's in college,I use it as a backline amp in a small bar where I host an open mic(the amp lives at the bar) and it fills the room well...not bad for an entry level amp..and it has some cool red lights that pulsate with the notes when you play..

I have a Rumble 350 2x10 Combo that is more than adequate for medium size club gigs.

Thanks Pica.

I'm old and I just want to play through a 15. I
know, I'm crazy. Thank goodness I don't have
to move it around.

When I was younger, I toted a 2x15 cab and a
1x12 bass combo and bi-amped.

That's just reason I have a bad back, lol

Just came back from my local guitar store. They had both the 150 and 350 heads. Both sounded really good and really loud. Really couldn't tell the difference in the 150 and 350 as odd as that sounds.

My primary amp for the last 2 years has been a rumble 150 head with the rumble 410 cab! Im very happy with this set up. My Thunderbird truly thunders through this amp and the horn kicks out the bright highs. You cant beat this rig for the money!

I've got the 350 head and the 410 cab. No complaints. Sounds good, plays loud.

Okay, one complaint. I wish the cab was 8 ohm so if it ever came up, I could just add one more.

Question. Both the 150 and 350 heads are 4 ohms. The 112 & 2x8 (rumble) cabs are both 8 ohms. The 4x10 cab is 4 ohms. Would I be able to connect any combination of cabs to either amp?
