I like a little variety in my rack. Ampeg SWR GK
I play in two bands and sub and decided to rack a few of my favorites together so now I have backups and variety. GK 800 is my all time classic fave, SWR for the classic transparent funk tone and the Ampeg for some monster rock tone. Attachment 368577

That's wicked! Great stuff.
We like the GK and SWR sounds for the same reasons!

Nice amps with great sound. But all together in one rack? OK, you do the schlepp. ;)

How is it hooked up for a gig?

Always bring a back up and you will never need it.

I've got the same SWR amp. Loving the tones I'm getting from it. Very clear, transparent and punchy through my rig.
Also looking into either a GK 700RB-II or 1001RB-II as a backup/alternate amp. Didn't think about shoving them all into the one rack case either. Good form :D

Jimmy I run the Ampeg through the effects loop of the GK when I want it and can also use the GK and the SWR as standalone heads obviously.

I used to have a 700 RB and I would like another one.

That's pretty cool, but thought you were going to use both heads at the same time somehow rather than a main/backup.

Oh no. Just one or the other.
