I got my GK MB212 from the brown truck on Friday afternoon. I used it on a gig this weekend and it seemed to really do the job.
It sounds a bit different than my SWR 750 into an 8x10 but I surely didn't miss the volume and punch. It might take a couple of gigs to get it dialed in but all in all it worked great.

I did have a minor scare when all of the sudden the amp cut out. I thought it shut down on me but it turns out that we had too much stuff on one circuit and the breaker tripped.
What a bad a** little amp.
At the end of the night my guitar player came over and picked it up and told me FU and walked away.
This thing weighs less than my rack.

Duh......I found some on the website! Who'd a thunk it? I see you are used to using a pretty big rig. What kind of stuff does your band do? How would it hold up against a loud drummer?

I used it last night at a cover gig with a pretty loud drummer.
I mainly bought it to use with the original band i'm in. The 8x10 cab and rack is a PIA to get on and off stages quickly so I needed to make it a little easier on myself. We also rehearse at a place where the load in is a loading dock and I hated lifting the big rig up on the dock.
It kept up with our PA, loud drummer and guitar player with 4x12 cab and I really didn't have it turned up half way. I will get a better feel for it next week with rehearsal Tuesday, and two gigs on the weekend.

I would love to have something like that to use with my classic rock trio.

Stinsok,

I have the MB 210. Plenty loud for a classic rock trio.
