I LOVE my new Genz Benz amp!

I can't believe just how good my new Shuttlemax 12.0 is.
I am absolutely stoked with it.

The tones I can get from it blow my mind, there is SO much scope for fiddling with tone with the 2 x sweepable mids etc.

Surprisingly (ie. much to MY surprise, and early days yet) I get a better (to my ears) sound out of my MIJ Jazz bass compared to my Ricky through it. Though I'm sure if I spend more time with the Ricky I'll nail a great sound with that bass too.

The amount of volume on tap is simply silly when playing through both my cabs. After some tweaking of gain settings and EQ I have the master volume on about 2 and its way loud. Too loud to play for too long before my neighbours will complain.

I can't wait to try it out properly with my band for the first time on Wednesday!

Money (very) well spent.
Well done Genz Benz! You have created a truly remarkable bass amp!

Greg

Illinimax,
I have been running a 1980 Peavey MKIII 400 series now for over 20 years, apart from a recent brief stint with a BBE B-Max / Behringer power amp combo.
The weight's what got to me in the end. I'm 47 and my back isn't as strong as it once was.

I saw The Bass Whisperer's videos on Youtube and fell in love with the sound of the GB, especially when he plays the old Jazz through it. WOW!
