I may have a deal on a 410 Avatar cab should I

I played a gig tonight and there was a band who played before us. The bass player for that band was getting rid of a bunch of stuff , to buy a vintage tube Ampeg head he said, I think he said a 70 something model. Anyway to get back to my question he has a 1yr old Avatar Neo 410 cab he said was like mint, he just didnt like it. He was using a Ampeg BA600 combo. HE also told me it was 4ohm and rated at 1000watts, and I could have it for $300.00 is this a good deal, and are these good cabs. Ive never seen them around here. If they are cool I will use it with my SWR 700 head.

I would see if I could try it out, and if you like it go for it. They are good, solid cabs. Good price I think as well.

Avatar is a decent cab for the money. The Neo 410 is going for $449.00 right now plus $48.00 shipping. $300.00 sounds a tad steep because you have no idea how much he pounded this thing before he decided to not like it- I'd offer him $275.00 firm after firing it up and putting it through the paces for about 15 minutes.
