This setup is the result of over a year of research on this forum! Well, and other resources.
The preamp is a Presonus Studio Channel. The tube can be utilized in the preamp, or bypassed, and it does make a very noticable difference when the tube gain is cranked. Especially after I swapped from the stock tube for $10. The compressor is amazing and adjustable to my liking... same with the EQ.
-Thanks to "Supertanker" or I might not have discovered it
With the DS24 I have fully customizable HPF, which saves wattage and prevents me from blowing my speakers. Also 5 full parametric EQ options.
-Thanks to user "rpsands" for showing me the DS24, and "Joe Smithberger" for selling me the near-new condition item for a good price
The QSC PLX1804 poweramp has not even seen its full use yet, but it is obviously a great piece of equipment. I can't wait to push it, just a little bit.
-Thanks to RMC Audio for a great price

and QSC and Bob Lee for being awesome
Just going into my Avatar SB112 cabinets I can hear an incredible improvement. I've never been able to fine-tune my sound so much, and I love it, cause I'm a tweaker. Soon I will bi-amp into a fearful cabinet, and that's when it will really shine. Oh yeah... and if I want to run PA mains and monitors with 1800 watts, all I have to do is swap the preamp for a rackmount mixer.
This setup is extremely versatile and powerful. Weighs about 25lbs with the shallow 4 space rack, and way better than any bass head I've ever owned or played thru. You guys can keep your micro amps.

I MUCH prefer pro PA and studio gear. My shuttle 3 combo will stick around and I'll have the head for backup too. But this is the most versatile, powerful thing that I think I will ever need.
