| i need help piecing my rig together

im getting back into playing bass. i have to be as cost concious as possible, but im trying to put together the best rig i can for my dollar.
i got my first piece of my rig this weekend. its a bag end s18b-d 1x18 cabinet. next friday ill be picking up a carvin r600.
i need a cab for mids, highs, and punch. the bag end cab alone with the r600 actually sounds pretty decent and in a pinch would work as a stand alone cab. i doesnt quite have the clarity and punch that i know id get from a cab with some 10's.
its been about a decade or so since ive put a bass amp together. im kind of out of the loop when it comes to gear, especially for bass.
any input you guys have would be much appreciated!!!
