I need a very sensitive 15" speaker,has to be 8ohm each, for under £80-ish each.

I have a 180w/300w peak combo, soon to have another 15" with it. So I want to get the most out of my girly wattage rating.

The lowest i go is drop-d on my 4string.

Here are some specs of my amp that may be useful.

Signal to noise --> Better than 80dB (EQ flat)

Frequency Response --> -3dB at 33Hz and 25KHz

What is the combo amp? In order to pick the right speaker for your combo, you'll need to know it's inner volume and have port measurements if it's ported. Then one of our resident speaker design experts may be able to chime in and help.

Are you looking to replace your combo's internal speaker, or add another one as an extension speaker? If it's the latter, I think the Bag End S15D would fit the bill...efficient, 8ohm, and if you only do drop D should handle the lows just fine.

There are no specs there. As for a high sensitivity speaker, that's more the matter of the cabinet than the driver.

Both, get two, one for the combo, one for the cab when i get it.

Unless the extension cab is going to have the same measurements as the combo, you will end up with 2 different speakers.

It's not as simple as dropping a new speaker in a box and playing.

For starters, you need to pop the driver out of your combo and physically measure the dimensions of the cab interior. You also need to measure the port. Until you do that, it's all speculation.
