So, I'm sittin here learning a new song and in the middle of the song my amp goes quiet, and is no longer making any sound. I tried another bass to see if it was the bass that was the problem, and it just had a really bad distorted sound almost like a tube needed to be replace.....but its solid state.

This is an old amp(Sears BXL200 2x15 2x12),and i've had it for a long time and it was my grandpas for 30 years I'd hate to see this thing go because it just kicks ***

If it's that valuable to you, and I understand why, take it to a tech.
