370 + 301 = 371

I've been looking for this rig for over 4 years. We happened to play a house party in the middle of B.F.E. over the weekend and the PA was the Acoustic rig. I told the fella if he ever wanted to get rid of it to call me first. Luckily for me he was in need of a small amount of cash and a bass. So, A old Ibanez P Bass + $20 got me the rig...,

Awesome rig. I own a 370 and wouldn't mind having one of these cabs around but I've never seen one down here.

I carry a 370 on the road as a backup.....I LOVE that damn thing!!!! I don't play it often, but when I do I am continually AMAZED at the power and the tone....

40 year old amp and I had it serviced once. No Planned obsolescence there!!

I have retolexed it, put new corners on her and she looks brand new! Total investment in a 40+ year old amp? About 40 bucks...

Congratulations!!

Saaaweet! hell of a deal. Thought I'd gotten a smokin' deal on my 150/106 rig last week, but you just trumped that big time.

The fellow I got it off of bought it from ST Louis via craigslist. Drove about 16 hours round trip to get it. It definitely is killer. I instantly felt like John Paul Jones!

Gotta love the 300/400 series Acoustics!

More pics, especially with 301 cabs or any cabs with the white dust caps.

That 370 looks pristine. Did you buy it new back in the 1970's?
