It'd look something like this. http://www.amazon.com/Behringer-Clas...8799951&sr=1-6

Has anyone had any experience with this head?

Maybe it's just me, but I think it'd be meth, not crack, involved with that union.

Not the first time Bugera has copied another original design. I've never heard that head and hopefully never will.

not only that, but behringer hired that idiot who ran ampeg into the ground to head up the ampeg design theft division. birds of a feather.

"Or, you can spend a whole lot more and get an amp from that company whose name rhymes with 'Damp Leg.' " I think I'd rather, thank you.

EDIT: After spending some time comparing specs between the SVT CL, and this Bugera creation, the Bugera looks almost EXACT to the SVT. Wonder if they'll get sued.

behringer has been sued before and lost. therefore, they now know that they have to make the design just different enough to where they won't get sued. a more unscrupulous mi company has never existed, imho.

i'll stick with damp leg amps, too. they may cost more, but they're not cheap-ass reverse engineered ripoff junk made with the worst parts money can buy. and i can sleep a little easier knowing that i'm not helping them to get rich off unsuspecting rubes who are blinded by the price tag.

Ampeg would have to be really desperate to have a baby with Behringer.

To my knowledge, that's not true concerning their circuits.

As far as I know, they've never lost a suit, though they settled over trade dress beefs -- which are essentially BS as far as I'm concerned.

I'd also be surprised if this is really that close a copy of Ampeg once you get it opened up. EVERY "exact ripoff" Beringer product I've seen was in truth substantially different with numerous cut corners over the so-called copied device.

Behringer stuff is nowhere nearly as much a rip off as they'd like you to believe they are.

Anyhow, if the circuits are nonpatentable (and this covers virtually all music electronics), I'm 100% for anyone making them cheaper and more available to more people.

That's the intent of US patent law.
