EDIT: After spending some time comparing specs between the SVT CL, and this Bugera creation, the Bugera looks almost EXACT to the SVT. Wonder if they'll get sued.

Wonder if they'll get sued. | behringer has been sued before and lost. therefore, they now know that they have to make the design just different enough to where they won't get sued. a more unscrupulous mi company has never existed, imho.
i'll stick with damp leg amps, too. they may cost more, but they're not cheap-ass reverse engineered ripoff junk made with the worst parts money can buy. and i can sleep a little easier knowing that i'm not helping them to get rich off unsuspecting rubes who are blinded by the price tag.

As far as I know, they've never lost a suit, though they settled over trade dress beefs -- which are essentially BS as far as I'm concerned.
I'd also be surprised if this is really that close a copy of Ampeg once you get it opened up. EVERY "exact ripoff" Beringer product I've seen was in truth substantially different with numerous cut corners over the so-called copied device.
Behringer stuff is nowhere nearly as much a rip off as they'd like you to believe they are.
Anyhow, if the circuits are nonpatentable (and this covers virtually all music electronics), I'm 100% for anyone making them cheaper and more available to more people.
That's the intent of US patent law.
