No I don't think you will lose much. The HLF will probably give you more low-end because it is unrivaled in this department for a 410.
Because of the Ampegs colossal low-end I personally don't think the 410 HLF is a great cab for tube heads. This is just my opinion but putting my Fender 300Pro and Sunn 300T though my 410 HLF just led to too much boom for my tastes.
I actually have 2 ampeg 410he's and peavey VB-2. I'm way happy, as this rig can move some serious air. The only downside i have is that each cab weighs 90 lbs, so its kinda a pain to move.

exactly. Plus you'll have a very modular rig. I find that giant rumbling bass doesnt work well with this rig since the cabs are sealed. Instead, you use that extra mids for some nice grind and punch.
