I'll never move my 5PRO rig again

Car space was at a premium this weekend as the dumbers van is on the fritz. I decided to use my Jazz Rig, a LittleMark III and NY604 instead of my SVT 5PRO with 1x18 + 2x10 Cab. I was sure that I would have to go thru the PA to compete with two guitards sporting 4X12s. The Markbass rig tore it up!!! I actually had to turn it down...

Im amazed, thank you Mark Bass

Markbass and Genz-Benz are making heavy gear strictly optional for most bass players. My hat's off to them!

I love stories like this!
The magic small rig for me is a G.K. MB-500 micro head into two, 8 ohm, 210 neo cabinets. And recently I've been more and more just using one of the 210's.
With just one 210 it's not heavy metal loud but it's certainly keeping up at some of the bar and animal club gigs we're doing.

I have a markbass LMK 1 head ( the early bright yellow one) and I never have to turn gain or master past the third notch when playing with my band with two guitards playing ENGL tube heads and quads and a loud drummer. Mark bass gear beats it without effort.

"Strictly optional" great quote from pilgrim.

If I ever need more volume with what I have, ill just get another Ny406. If I want it to sound like the Ampeg - ill get the BDDI or one of the Line 6 products

Although I would love to have a MB2-500 fusion, or hear what the Little Mark Rocker sounds like
