I'm looking for a new amp!

What I like best is my fender bassman.
But I don't wanna hurt my back with the giant cabinet and the "old time amps " problems any once In a while..

How do you suggest me for a 1000-1500$ something small but that show some respect on the stage?

Tube Head - cabinet preferred, but suggest combo too ..

Mesa Boogie Walkbabout Combo or Head

What size speakers do you usually use 10s, 12s, 15s?

When I think of a small cab, I think of a 1x12 or smaller...for cafe's and the like. If your playing onstage, I'd be looking at a pair of 1x15's. If you go neo, they'd be really light.

Wow...nowhere in Rome, huh? I only ask because I've been in Rome the last couple years.
