I've loved my DB 112's for 3 years now. I use them almost exclusively these days, except when I'm in the mood for a 4X10 or providing backline. I got the Lecover covers, and recommend the extra dough for the padded ones....excellent gear crates at gigs
. I bought both cabs with tweeters so I wouldn't have to think about which cab to grab for a single cab gig, which is about half of what I do. It spreads out the wear and tear as well. When I stack them I just turn off the bottom tweeter. When I use 2 I stack them vertically at all times as, so the extra feet you mention (Seismic Audio, 8-pack, $11.49) are essential to clear the lower cab's strap handle. I set them on a gramma pad on top of a Carvin caster dolly... the ultimate roll-around mini-stack, and it puts my GK MB Fusion up just about at eye level (and it clears the strap handle with its big feet!). I can't say enough about that head through these cabs, either, though I'd probably love a TH500 if one just showed up one day
. One last aesthetic trick if you're "going vertical" with DB's: if you remove the screw nearest the "r" on the Aguilar badge (it removes without leaving a trace, BTW), the badge rotates 90 degrees very easily; replace the screw gently... voila! The badge sits proudly and reads properly at the lower left hand corner of the cabs!
