Input on Peavey 118D cab

Thinking about getting an older Peavey 118D cab with the 4 ohm BW @ 350 watts. Any opinons from users?

I actually have one that I just pulled out of 30 years of storage - f'in mice ate through the cover, grill cloth, and speaker cone . The BW had the aluminum dust cap and had pretty decent highs if I recall correctly. Dunno if I can get a replacement basket that's the same - I don't think they are available with the aluminum dust cap any more? Mine might be a 250w version but was the 4 ohm version. Definitely moved some serious air with very little power .

At the time I could pick it up and carry it myself - unlike the V9 cab I had before it.

What is a reasonable price for these cabs? Theres one at a local pawn shop which they want $300 for. Seems pretty steep !

I have seen a couple on craigslist around 150-200, so 300 might be high.

i use to have one, was ny first real amp, i had a Kustom 200 watter on it, it was a good cab. i think i payed about 250 or so for mine
