I recently was inside my amp head changing out the preamp valve and noticed that their is and adjusting knob on the left side (if your looking at it from the front)inside of the amp. does anyone know what this adjusts?

Pics would help a lot but it could be, for example, a bias trimmer. Is it close to the section that houses the power amp circuitry?

Just having some fun, it could be bias, could be pre-gain. Either way they can be real touchy at times and moving the slightest can send the amp into the shop.

They show now, as it is on the power amp board, the good bet is it is a bias adjustment (still don't move it at all ). Sorry had to stress the point
It is also BR1 it appears?
