Has anyone used ISP cabs? Just curious. I didn't do a thread search, but Mus. Friend is blowing them out. $999 for the 15" w/2x8" and $1299 for the 18" with 2x8". That's less than what I've seen them on ebay. I've often thought "why not just run a nice pre-amp pedal into a powered cab?" I mean most of what's heard in the places we play is the mains and now I bring my REDDI, because we also use in-ears and I've never heard anything make my bass sound as nice as the REDDI does thru the in-ears. I know that the REDDI isn't a pre, but I heard it has enought out put to send signal to a power amp. Wonder if this would work with a ISP cab.?

I reviewed the Bass Vector, Bass Vector Pro, and Beta Bass Processor back in the Guitar World's Bass Guitar days. Here is a link to that review.

I liked them pretty well, but told them that the cabs were too heavy for anyone who did not have roadies to use, so they came out with the Bass Vector 15 (which still sounds great, but is at least somewhat easier to move around).

These are nice cabs. I somewhat prefer my Berg IP's, but they cost a good bit more, and in truth, I could see some players preferring the ISP's to the Berg IP's.

Tom.
