issue with my new lh500

Sign in to disble this ad
i got my new lh500 on Friday and have been using it lightly as directed by the manufacturer to break in my new eden 10's by connecting an ipod to it and playing it at low volume for at least 10 hours before cranking it up. so heres the thing, i found that when at 0 the head still puts out a signal mostly though the horn and between 0 and 2 the output switches between the horn and the drivers also i occasionally get some static and i'm not sure if its due to the head or the cab also output is a little erratic at this low setting. the head was a display model and i''m worried the tube may be messed up from the newbs at the music store. please help, i only have one more week to bring it back.

I get a little background static from my LH500 also... like when you have a dirty pot. I thought it was the flourescent lights but I ignore it as long as it doesnt over power my playing.

I'd rather not deal with it. that's why i traded my old rig for this new one. if somethings wrong i want to take care of it before it costs me money.

If it's new it has a warranty. Take it back and get it checked out. It's what a warranty is for!
