I have been using my Peavey Tour 450 amp for the past four years. Don't get me wrong it is a great amp and has been really good to me. Over the years I have went through some gear changes and a cab upgrade/change. My current cab is a Mesa PowerHouse 6x10 which I love and sounds awesome. It can handle a lot of power, but also output the big clear sound. Now I find myself wanting an amp upgrade/change. I am looking at the Mesa Carbine M6 for the new amp. I have heard, heard samples and read great things about the Carbine's and I have seen some used M6's for around in the $500's-600's range. I play in a original loud rock/pop punkish band and use a Fender Precision bass. I am just asking what other's here on TB think of the Carbine M6? Is it a worthy upgrade from my Tour 450?

Yes, the Carbine is a first rate, pro level amp, and a HUGE step up from the Peavey.
