Jack Darr's Electric Guitar Amplifier Handbook

Does anyone have this book? If so would you be willing to scan me a copy of a certain schematic?

I'm needing the plans for an Airline 62-9015-A I have on the bench for work.

I sent my copy to JimmyM so perhaps he might oblige if he still has it. IIRC Old Colony Sound has reissued the book. IMO it was a great book to get a neophyte into servicing tube amps.

OK I have the book, I have an image of what appears to be the unit schematic. Not exactly same, it is a wards Airline GDR 9015A, 2 input channels, pair of 6L6.

Wards and Sears had a habit of putting the vendor number as the first part of the part number, so that might be same thing.

But I don't have an email address to send it to................

And he used it..... in the first place.

Just making sure he got me the address to avoid delays.... he DOES seem to be a tad anxious for it

Schematic Heaven is no more, but their site is archived. Here's the page which has Airline stuff, some of these may be close enough. http://www.webphix.com/schematic%20h...argainbin.html

Oh, I sent him the info I had some time ago.... hopefully it was what he needed....

That archived site has brands that I had forgotten, and some I never heard of at all..... Sheesh....

On the "con" side, some of them seem to be incomplete, so,.......

I was able to fix the unit thanks to the schemes sent. Thanks again to all that helped. It was my first point to point tube amp fix. I simply followed the scheme and reconnected the leads that someone had severed and replaced two caps. Amp works great and still has working original RCA tubes.
