| | | | This thread is making me yearn for my 2008 rig - a used GK 400RB-III on top of a plank of plywood on top of some foam padding on top of a discontinued Eden 1x12 cab with a $60 replacement speaker on top of an Ampeg SVT15-e. I think I have pictures around somewhere, but haven't turned them up.

The first scratch/dent is always tough, but every one after that is added mojo.

Unfortionatly I don't have any pics of it. Also for my first upright bass pickup, I wired a piezo element ripped from a kids toy to a cable and shoved it under the bridge. I do have a video of me playing both (badly) at my first jazz gig ever in middle school. http://youtu.be/V8L5k33aAHE

Thing sucked but back in early HS it was loud and that's all that mattered. It makes me laugh to look back and see the crazy gear I used to play. Now I play my beloved acoustic 360 or my GK 700 rbII with ampeg cabs.

Janky just for fun...I never gigged it...the Peavey 412TVX made that poor lil' Avatar 210 null and void.

The only thing I disagree with jank wise is all the hate of the Ashdown blues! Now granted the Mag series isn't all that impressive but even then my old Mag 115 is still going.... and sounds great if you scoop out the gross mids a bit!

Nedd moar tech specs pls!
