Japanee Bass amps and cabs?

From what I have seen, I have come to the conclusion that the Japanese generally do things well.
Now I am wondering if there are any japanese made bass amps and cabs.
Are there?
Thanks!

I have a nice Univox 1061 that was made in Japan. It's built remarkably well and sounds great. It is aparently a copy of a Marshall Super Bass circuit but when Marshall got wind of the fine transformers Univox was using they began to outfit the real Marshalls with the same transformers.

Ampegs were made in Japan from 80-85. Of course, the only good product they had was the SVT, but still...

When saying 'Japanese' I mean designed and built in japan.
