search wasnt kind to me--- i did find an old ad for one.

came across a couple of these for pretty cheap. havent had a chance to go and hear them, but i hope to do so soon. in the meantime, if anyone has owned/played one or more of these, i would love to hear what you thought of it. looks like they might be fun with an all-tube head.

They're loaded with MI-151 drivers, not K or E140s. They're OK, but nothing spectacular.

thanks for the replies... i will check em out and post back.

i plan to try them with my bassman 100 head. the speaker seems pretty efficient (102db!), and has xmax of 5mm. i am no engineer, though, so i will rely on my ears. at any rate, if the bassman isnt enough to wake them up, i think i will pass.

I've got a pair of the bit larger JBL MR-825 (15" with a horn) models. They make really nice small PA mains or monitors but are pretty anemic on the low end used as bass cabs. Kick drums sound pretty good through them so I really expected them to work better as bass cabs but It just seems like their wedge shaped design cuts down on their internal size and is probably the main drawback while used as bass cabs.
