That's with 2-band active. Passive P could easily be 7 lbs or under. Your card awaits...

Thanks Mike. No effects, just Monique into Pro Tools.

Here's a good question from my guitar player for you Monique players....

What in your opinion would be the polar opposite amp of Monique tone-wise?

I really couldn't answer the question as Monique is pretty versatile.

My tube (and tube pre) Mesas and GKs are different, but not polar opposites. My SVT was similar without the clarity/articulation. My Aguilar and Genz Benz were different but I guess my Markbass F1 would be as different than Monique as I have owned but even that can get tubey.

I briefly tried a friend's Glockenklang Heart Rock and it was super transparent, but polar opposite? Hmmmm....

What amps in your opinion are completely different sounding than Monique?

A Kustom?

I did mention my guitarist plugged his '59 Strat in the Monique and was quite amazed. He had all his tone but with such headroom it was bizarre. Like his tone was in a big room. He noticed the tone didn't change when you dial up or down on the Sensitivity.

Hmmmm.... I wonder what his guitar amps are like?

I have a crazy large offer on the table for my 1970s Hiwatt DR503 (Custom 100) head and matching 412 cab (3 original Fanes).

I barely play guitar, but it will be hard for me to sell the Hiwatt as it is the best guitar amp I have ever heard (and the head rocks for bass too). But a GUI-Monique? Might be worth checking out.

Hi All,

Does anyone have any experience in comparing a Monique to a Fender TBP-1 preamp, particularly into a Bergantino powered rig (I have an IP310 this I currently run the Fender into). I like the TBP-1, but wonder how it might compare to the Monique.

I think Greg is going to buy it, but I must admit it it is EXACTLY the color Precision I want. But I'd have to change the pickguard to black so it looks like late 70's.

Ssssh. It's supposed to be a secret. And a friend runs the final cut through her "to make it all real again." All this amazes me. I just like bass.

And a very Merry and Happy Jule-Tide to you all.

Hi Monique fans,
Is there a cab with built-in power amp that Monique can be connected directly?
Thanks

Absolutely. Bergantino, ISP and Bag End have powered cabs, and you can also use a PA style enclosure, like those offered by Mackie, QSC, etc. There are more powered cabs coming onto the market as well.

Thanks, Tom.
Any recommendation if it is only for personal use in the bedroom which showcases the sound of monique and AC LG bass?
I am looking for the lowest wattage.
