Everybody seems to know you my friend.

I caught the Air Force Band (from Travis AFB) at NAMM at the Hilton. Very funky. Very funky. Very good.

Introduced myself. They said to say, "Hi."

Haha, yeah they've got some great players, glad you got to check them out. I'll have to give you a call soon and gush about the tardis. I'll try and put some recordings up before I leave for the Sitka Jazz Fest in a few days.

Yes, and it's a great match. It really has that "sonic 3D" thing going on.

+1 I would think so. "Sterile" is not a term I've ever considered with my Bergs. They seem to do the "clear and articulate" thing, but still sound "right" for bass, IME/IMHO. Of course, the sound varies quite a bit from cab to cab, so it may depend on which models you have heard.

Oooh! I can't wait! I will definitely be ordering one of these from you, Jule.

When I was in the market for a new cab YEARS ago, this guy who worked the bass department at a great music store in south Florida was obsessed with bergs. We A/Bd every cab they made at the time (mostly HTs) with every Epifani cab they had at the time and the Epis won hands down. Obviously the NV cabs were incredible but I just never felt that "thing" that berg lovers feel with the smaller cabs, especially the 12s. I just couldn't get any lows out of them!

I can understand that. Of course, with different folks come different preferences. I sold all of my Epifani cabs, largely because of my Bergs.

That cabinet certainly stood out from the crowd (tonewise).

Wonderful to be any part of that gig.

Honestly- I thought the Monique - Minnie - 15/6/1 was a great trio.
I was very glad to hear the Monique and especially to meet Jule!

Here you go Jule, and Monique lovers, an aural testament to the awesome Monique preamp. Great overtones and complexity in the tone. Also my first youtube video, still have to figure some things out.

Thanks for the compliments, here's a very quick demo just to show one of the things i love most about the monique. When I play her through my bergs, and start turning some knobs, i get an awesome chewy, growly, grunting low end, the envelope of the note really changes when you start changing eq and sensitivity, just awesome.

You said you recorded the audio direct through Garageband, what camera did you use and how did you sync it up. Sorry for my naivety....just breaking into the whole DAW thing myself, adding video totally foreign.
