Just Finished My Jack 12 and Luving It

Sign in to disble this ad
I finished my Jack 12 build last Thursday and gigged it on yesterday, I really love the sound. My previous rig was an Ampeg Classic 410, and SVT-3 head, that combination is in no way as clear and full sounding as my Jack 12 and GK MB2500. The clarity of the sound was amazing. Cant wait to attempt one of the fearful designs.

The Mb500 sounds awesome with that cab I've got a couple. You should hear it with the stack of them.

I'm thinking of building one of these too. How's the low end on yours?

I have a Jack 112, not built by me, 3012HO loaded -- nice low end, doesn't boom or fart, very clear mids and highs. I can't see anyone being disappointed in this cab.

If someone expects tons of lows from it, that's how I'd be disappointed. The Jack 12 is almost as big size-wise as my fEarful 15/6, but nowhere near as much under 150hz or so content.
