About twenty years ago, I stopped playing pedal steel guitar because I was tired of lugging heavy gear--at that time, a Fender Super Twin. Just got a gig in a Latin band--had to go get something hefty. Good grief!...is this thing heavy for a combo...

Yep, and it will never let you down.

Congrats on the new gig.

Sheesh...what a beast. Installed casters today to avoid herniating myself. It was quite a slog from the store to the house.

It's a BW, btw.

I have the TNT130, similar vintage, a few pounds lighter, but probably not much. Classic amp. Everyone should do some good hard time with a solid peavey. It's one way to learn how good you can actually sound with inexpensive gear.

Aside from the weight, of course, I love its versatility. I like a piece of gear like this that can roll in and out of virtually any kind of situation, with enough volume to kill it when needed. I'm looking forward to running another cab with it when the need arises.

I'm a big fan of Peavey combos. One of the most versatile pieces of gear that I've owned is a little KBA/60--three inputs, with an XLR, even. I've played moderately large rooms with this rig with guitar and vocal. I also often play (guitar and vocal) at a venue that has a KBA/100. For inexpensive, compact, convenience, these are great little rigs for all things acoustic.
