Just got a Markbass LMIII

Just picked up a LMIII new from GC. Playing it through a 410HLF and so far, at home, it sounds great. Much better then my SVT-350H I was playing through. Any suggestions or tips on dialing it in? Nor real familiar with the VLE, VPF controls. Although it sounds good just plug n play. Just looking for some feedback on the Mark III
Thanks,
Steve

I like it pretty much set flat most of the time, however I do use the VLE sometimes. I use the VLE between off and 12 o'clock.

For me, the VLE and VPF are pretty much all I need to tweak. Set all EQ @ 12 noon, and tweak the two filters until you're happy.

For me, VLE is usually at 9 o'clock, and the VPF at 8 - 8:30. Often they are just off altogether.

Aren't these the coolest amps ever?
I generaly run mine flat (or with a slight bass bump) with the VLE at 9:00 and the VPF off.
Lately I like it better than an SVT or pre-power rig with a TL606 cabinet.
Shhhh, don't tell Jimmy I said this; he was the one that convinced me to buy one and then he sold his!

The VLE cuts out some of your high end and the VPF gives you a mid scoop and a slight boost in the lows and highs.

I personally run my MB amp almost completely flat and with both filters completely off.

i would either run mine flat or with slightly cut lows, and slightly boosted hi mids and highs and vle between 9:30 and 10:00.

I'm old school and run the VLE at 2-3:00 and the VPF at 9-10:00. But I will try it with less and see what that gets me.

I seem to enjoy my LMIII set dead flat with no filters at all. They are cool to mess with though. Great little amp.

On my LMIII I like the standard 12 o clock EQ with a mild boost to mid-lows, VLE and VPF at 9 o clock. Any other EQ'ing is usually done with the Stingray.
