I tend to run the Master high and the Gain low and keep all the EQ knobs somewhere between 4 and 6. Resonance and Presence around 3 or 4.

I am also curious to hear how others have had their VB-2s set up for rock/punk/indie style. Mine should be arriving early next week.

Me too. Gain 12 o'clock / Master between 2 and 3 o'clock.

Remember that the Resonance is your second low control. Sometimes you can get more lows at higher volumes without distortion by turning the Resonance up instead of the Low EQ control.

If you play slap n pop, the bright switch and Presence control will be your friends.
