Am I the only person who thinks that a passive Fender Precision; relatively heavy La Bella flats (760 FM); a sealed Berg NV412 and the Streamliner 900 might not be the ideal combination...?

Too many elements geared towards the same objective...??

I think that particular setup lacks versatility but if it's the sound in someone's head, let them have that. Dead strings and Ampegs twice my age treat me quite well.

Sounds like a nice rig. I wouldn't mind it at all, except maybe and SVT to go with it.

Ya, could be a bit of a one-trick pony, especially the bass (I love P's)...but I wouldn't kick it outta bed for eating crackers....chips and queso now, we'd have to have a talk.

P or J bass with flats into an SVT rig. A combination I don't own but use frequently. Perfect. Everything else is just pretending.

What to sculpt when the marble boulder is already the face of the beloved?
