Just picked up a used Ampeg SVT410HLF

It says "Made in the USA" on the back sticker, but I'm seeing conflicting stories on the interwebs about this cab. Some people are saying that the drivers are from China, others are talking about Viet Nam... Was there ever a version that was made completely in the USA?

The cab sounds great so far, so it's just an academic question. I'll get a chance to play it at volume on Monday, but even at bedroom levels the bottom is pretty huge.

Thanks

Thanks! I guess the drivers must be USA Eminence then. Not sure if it makes much of a difference in the real world, but it's nice to know.

That huge bottom is always there even if you want it to be lol. It's a boomy cab but sits well in a live rock mix if EQ properly.

Yeah, I saw some reviews complaining about some boominess. From what I've read the cab is pretty sensitive to whatever head is being used. I'm using a pretty polite head - a Genz-Benz Neo-Pak 3.5, so hopefully it will match up well at volume.

The cab was such a deal, I figure if it doesn't work out I can always get my money back on Craigslist.
