Thumbs up Just scored a T.E. GP12 SMX pre-amp...

but it's a bit rough on the outside. Guy used it in FL along the beaches and has rust on the edges.

Build date on it is from 8/93 so it's pre-gibson and the inside is pretty clean. Any ideas on how to clean this up? Or if I could get a used face plate somewhere?

Now I just need to find an amp to go with it.

Dremel with a sanding disk on the outside. Then some Rustoleum touchup paint to cover those spots. AFA power amps go; just pick the amp of your choice. Crown and Peavey make the most affordable, lightweight amps these days. There's always the QSC PLX series; lightweight, powerful, but $$$.
