Just traded for a Near Mint Carvin R1000 Rig

I just traded a Rondo Les Paul Copy for a 2006 Carvin R1000 Rig ... its a series III & I got a 4 ohm 410 & 4 ohm 118 cab.

The things in near perfect shape ... I've never owned anything made by Carvin before & never planned to but this thing sounds great IMHO.

I had been looking to get a 410 cab & this thing found its way into my damage path

I think I'll use the cabs with my trusty old Tmax head & keep the R1000 for a backup.

Yes ... a guy here in town decided to quit playing bass.

I remember when this rig was bought new back in 2006 & had seen it in their practice room ( I know the guitar player well ) but never paid much attention to it.

I really only wanted the cabs but the heads sounds very good & has loads of power.

To be fair the Les Paul copy is a very nice one
