Just won a Kern IP-777 on ebay

I have shifted my search from basses to tube preamps etc.
Have a Hughes and Kettner BATT tube pre.
Just bought and sold an Alembic F-1x [ great but not the end ]
Have ordered a Sarno Revelation preamp http://www.sarnomusicsolutions.com/products/rtp.html

Been scouring the internet for a Kern. Found one on CL but he is not sure he wants to sell. TB'er told me about one on BassGear.com. He and I are in contact but he is not sure.

Saved a Kern search on ebay and got the email for a 24 hour auction. Got it !!

Nice score. Guys I know who do the pre-amp shuffle rave about the Kern. I myself settled on a Demeter HPB-1.
