Kick-back stand for a 40lb cab?

So, I thinking a kick-bck stand for my 210 would be sweet but I have no idea where to get one. Any ideas? Preferably something that's relatively simple to install. Thanks

On-Stage Stands Pro Tiltback Amp Stand

This one works for me, offering many height and angle options. It's capacity is rated at 90 pounds.

I have the markbass triangle/wedge thing. It works well and is very easy to transport. I just slide over the headstock of my bass gig bag.

Two drawbacks of this stand...

1. Gotta finda place to put your amp.

2. The MB wedge and shuffle its way out from underneath the cab at high volumes.

"STEALTH KICKBACK SYSTEM"

I installed a Penn spring loaded surface mount handle from Parts Express on my 210 cabs and also my combos (pictured). It doesn't help if right in front, but get 6 - 8 feet away and it makes a big difference. Just a thought. By the way, +1 on the Quick-Loc stand!

Thanks to MNAirHead for helping name it!

That's what I'm looking for! Something that doesn't require extra gear. You wouldn't happen to have any more would you, I don't want to pay $5ish shipping on a $4 item, lol.

i once found a piece of a 2"x2" in the parking lot of a hardware store, and i painted it black with 99c spray paint. total cost: approx. 15c. worked great until i lost it.

Some serious innovation! Maybe version 2.0 of the jimmy stand can include a piece of string to secure the jimmy stand to the cab to prevent loss and discourage theft.

I have a pair of these.

Cheap, simple, effective and very user-freindly.

The guys at the BFM forum like the spring loaded legs. The next time I order from Speaker Hardware, I'm gittin' me sum.

Until then, I'll carry on with my chunks of 2x4. (Which are painted black like Jimmy's)

I use a block of high density foam that was used for shipping electronic equipment.
Cut it with a serated knife to 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 8" long; slip it under the front of a 55lb cabinet and it works great.

I bought a speaker stand that was recommended by a board member; not all recomendations are good ones .....
