KMD 1x12 speaker replacement

Sign in to disble this ad
So I have this 1987 KMD 1x12 amp my father gave me when I was younger and the speaker is blown. Not much information on these but seems to be an alright affordable ssamp built in England with a celestion g 12t-75 speaker. I want to use it for a drum machine. I am doing experimental music and was wondering?
1. is this amp worth replacing the speaker?
2. Should I look into some of the newer bass responsive speakers celestion is making?
3. any thoughts on this amp handling beats from a drum machine?
4. was wondering if A fifteen inch speaker would be better to suit the bass from a drum machine?

Not enough info to answer. I imagine KMD made a few different amps. No idea how much wattage, how big the cab is, design of the cab, etc. Model number and/or front and back pics would help.
